In short: Neurogram is a personal AI-powered voice introspection tool. Use it responsibly. AI-generated content is not professional advice. Your data lives on your device and you can delete it anytime.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Neurogram ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Neurogram is a voice-based personal introspection application powered by artificial intelligence. You speak or write your thoughts, and an AI companion called "Neu" transforms them into structured deposits — capturing the essence of what you said, identifying themes and emotions, and connecting patterns over time.

The App includes the following features:

• Orb: The voice and text input interface where you share your thoughts
• Mind: A digital space to browse your deposits, view your weekly calendar, and access Weekly Reflections every Sunday
• Replay: A feature that lets you relive your past moments through your own words, with Neu weaving a narrative thread between them
• Ask Neu: A conversational interface where you can ask questions about your collected thoughts and receive personalized answers

The App processes your voice input using OpenAI's APIs (Whisper for speech-to-text and GPT for generating responses) through a secure proxy infrastructure.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Neurogram. This App is designed for adults seeking personal growth and self-awareness. If you are under 18, you may not use the App.

4. Voice Input & Your Data

Neurogram records your voice when you interact with the App. Your audio is converted to text using OpenAI's Whisper API and then processed by an AI model to generate structured deposits. All your data — including voice transcriptions, deposits, replay narratives, weekly reflections, and conversation history — is stored locally on your device. We do not create user accounts and do not store your personal data on our servers.

When you use AI features, your text is routed through our secure infrastructure (Cloudflare) and processed by OpenAI's API. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details on how your data is handled.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Neurogram uses artificial intelligence to generate deposits, insights, reflections, replay narratives, and answers to your questions. It is important to understand that:

• AI-generated content is not professional advice — it is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical advice, or any professional service
• AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate in some contexts
• You should not rely solely on Neurogram for decisions related to your mental health, medical conditions, legal matters, or financial decisions
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Neurogram for its intended purpose as a personal voice introspection tool. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Use the App to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or security measures
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or any part of it

7. Subscriptions & Purchases

Neurogram offers premium features through in-app subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings (Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions)
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

8. Intellectual Property

The Neurogram app, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is the intellectual property of its developer. Your personal content (voice transcriptions, deposits, conversations) remains entirely yours.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neurogram and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal harm arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any AI-generated content, deposits, insights, or reflections
• Loss of locally stored data due to device failure, app deletion, or any other cause
• Unauthorized access to your device

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Neurogram is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate for any particular purpose.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
